VANESSA GILBERT trained at The Royal Academy of Dancing and with Maria Fay, on a private scholarship. She joined the Munich Ballet but had to return to London with a back injury.
Vanessa then took a place on the Craftsman's course at The Royal Ballet School during which time she taught at White Lodge and at The Merle Park School of Dance.
Vanessa went to Dublin as Head of the Classical Department of Dublin City Ballet School and danced with the company. Forced to stop performing due to her back problems, Vanessa taught for fifteen years at top London Schools i.e. The Arts Educational Schools and The London Studio Centre where she is now a Governor.
When back problems forced Vanessa to stop teaching, she devoted time to her gift as a teacher of meditation. She spent many years working in Europe and America and running a busy private practice in London.
Vanessa continues her work in stress management meditation and healing in London and South East.
HELEN BALL has over 20 years of media sales experience working for national and international television stations as well as magazines. She has sold advertising space and set up sponsorship deals with luxury goods clients.
Helen is an ITEC and ISPA qualified aromatherapist and masseuse.
She has long cherished a love of dance though spends more time on horse back than on the dance floor.
MICHÈLE MARRIOTT has worked for a number of Major Charities as a national event organiser and corporate fundraiser for many years.
Michèle has organised many Global Treks including the Himalayas, the Namibian Desert and sledging in the Arctic.
Having organised numerous fundraising events both in the UK and abroad; she now runs her own event management company, ‘The Main Occasion'.
Michèle is, also, a Justice of the Peace: A musical JP that never has to be asked twice to step onto the dance floor.
STEPHEN GILBERT has been a solicitor for over 30 years. He is head of the Property Department at a busy West End Law firm.
Stephen is a member of The Court of Assistants of The Worshipful Company of Plaisterers. He is an RSA qualified aerobic instructor and has taken up the challenge to learn to dance, even though he has, in the past, suffered with a broken neck!
